Smart Connect Research was born to be a high performance company in the market research sector. Aimed at creating teams, systems and processes specialized in facing the world’s biggest challenges in the collection sector, methodology and data management.

Prior to joining SCR, Luke was a Director, in the Research Services Group at Decision Resources Group (DRG), a Healthcare Market Research and Consulting Company. He is based in Toronto, Canada.

I come from a small town in Ireland and moved to London in 2013 at the age of 17 to pursue a career in fundraising/sales jobs which is where I thought my skillset would be most useful. I did not have a specific industry that appealed to me. It was mostly a case of finding a company that I could use my skillset to my maximum capacity. I was fortunate to receive an offer to work as a Qualitative Consultant at SCR. I was promoted to the role of Qualitative Fieldwork Manager in April of 2019 and have not looked back since! SCR has definitely helped me exceed my own expectations and to find a company that I not only enjoy the work, but I also have a great affection for the companies culture and that is definitely something that makes me very grateful I made the choice to move here at such a young age.

I am an avid sports fan and put myself through the pain (occasional pleasure) of watching my boyhood club Manchester United play every week. Music is also a massive part of my life and while I do not play an instrument or sing I often spend hours analysing different artists and have already collected a large record collection. The rest of my time I spend socialising and there is nothing I love more than traveling or enjoying a great party/event.
A fair system that brings equality to all. I think in this day and age we should all understand that we are the same and beyond that the finer details are unimportant. I am also a huge advocate for altering the education system to be more beneficial for students who may not be the most academic but excel in other areas whether they be practical or entrepreneurial. As Albert Einstein once said "Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."

During her experience with the company she got promoted as Qualitative Supervisor and from October 2020 started her new role as Junior Qualitative Manager.

I come from a small Eastern European country called Bulgaria. I moved to London in 2012 around the age of 16 with both of my parents to support my little brother who had moved a couple years earlier to play football. I joined and graduated from college and after that I graduated university in 2019 with an honours degree in forensic. After that, I was fortunate enough to join SCR for a couple of months as a Senior Qualitative Consultant while looking for a job related to forensics. However, in March 2020 the pandemic happened and I was extremely fortunate to have a remote job during those strange and difficult times. During my time in this company, I have learned so much and have exceeded my own expectations of what I was capable of. In March 2022 I was promoted to Project Supervisor, and I am looking forward to learning more skills and challenging myself more.

When I was 18, I really wanted to study medicine, become a doctor, and help people. I wanted to graduate, find a decent job, and help my parents however I could, to repay them for everything they had done for me since I was born. I wanted to start to be more independent and learn new skills to help me cope with the challenges of being independent. And of course, I wanted to travel and visit countries and learn about their culture and history.
I love cooking and learning new recipes to challenge myself, such as making gnocchi from scratch. I am also a sports fan. I mainly enjoy football and F1; however, I love watching the Olympics and other big sporting events also. I am emotionally attached to a football team which occasionally brings me happiness. However, recently it's brought me more of the opposite. I also love swimming; it is a great sport and an activity from which your body benefits a lot. Lastly, I love socialising with my friends during weekends, playing games together, and going to music and other events.
I do not know where to begin. Our world has been in such a troubled state for the last couple of years. I would change the way ''leaders'' treat and protect our planet; global warming is very serious and important, and we should focus our attention on it more than we are right now. Inequality is another huge problem, not only gender, but racial as well. Gender equality is better these days, but there's still more we can do; however, racial inequality is still a massive problem. It is very noticeable in the media and some cultures, which is sad to see.

I was born in the UK however my family background is Indian/ Kenyan. I joined and graduated from university with a honours degree in business management and events from a top university in London. Once I completed university I started a new job within the hospitality industry however due to the pandemic I lost my job. That is when I joined SCR and I wouldn’t look back. Joining SCR as a Senior Qualitative Consultant was something new for me and challenging at the beginning working remotely due to the pandemic however it has impacted my life with more opportunities. After working for the company for 6 months I was privileged to be offered the promotion of Project Supervisor. I now look forward to facing more challenges and growing my skills and mindset within the company.

Alex has over six years of experience in market research. He started his career as a Junior Project Manager with SSI (now Dynata). About three years into the job, Alex was promoted to a senior role. I originally come from Ghana, moved to Italy in 2016 for my master’s degree. With a background in healthcare, I was looking forward to finding a job that aligned with my skillset and training after school. 3years later, with the covid pandemic and a boom in remote work, I joined SCR to help mostly with Healthcare research projects, amongst others as a Senior Qualitative Consultant and I’d say this has been one of the best decisions in my life. SCR has certainly helped me learn many new things and skill sets, exceeded my hopes, offered me a chance to grow, and stepped out of my comfort zone.

Danilo is a driven, fast-moving, relationship-focused market research professional with experience in human resources and relationship management. Prior to joining SCR, Danilo worked for Ajinomoto Co Inc., a Japanese food and biotechnology corporation, in HR.
In this role, Danilo had the privilege of helping to form relationships with over 50 partners of SCR across the globe. Danilo is responsible for maintaining and strengthening strategic partnerships with key internal & external stakeholders across multiple organisations.
In addition, he oversees the internal communication of business units with suppliers and other outside entities. He oversees teams that monitor purchases, budgeting, and cost factors and provides valuable information across business units to use resources efficiently and to execute company standards.
Furthermore, he is the subject matter expert regarding company operations processes, procedures, and policies.
